4th Of July Freedom Fireworks Celebration Saturday, July 4th Russell VFW Pavilion Schedule of Events Russell Freedom 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk-8:00AM Sign-Up For the 2nd Annual 1 Mile Freedom Fun Run/Walk.  Entries forms are available at the Russell Chamber of Commerce office located at 507 N Main Street.  Advance registration preferred.  Same day registration will begin at 7:00AM at the Russell VFW.  The Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:00AM Russell Freedom Celebration Horseshoe Tournament-8:00AM   Double tournament, single elimination in each tournament.  $10 entry fee with 70% payout.  Contact Dave Johnson at 483-2061 to sign up.  Sponsored by the Russell Horseshoe Club. 2nd Annual Patriotic Parade-Main Street-11:00AM 10:45AM Line Up at 9th & Main 11:00AM Parade Starts Show your All American Pride and decorate a float, 4-Wheeler, golf cart or vehicle.  Kids can decorate trike, bike, and scooters in red, white, and blue for the Annual Patriotic Parade contest.  Get our your flags, streamers, and more!  Decorate and wear your patriotic colors and walk the parade for judging!  Anything patriotic goes at this one of a kind parade.  Parade starts at 9th & Main and ends at the courthouse square.
